ROG Intelligent Cooling

Full-surround vents

Hot air needs somewhere to go, so we redesigned the Strix SCAR 16’s exhaust vents to give it the best flow possible. In addition to making the entire rear of the machine an exhaust vent, the Strix SCAR 16 retains its side vents, giving it ample opportunity to move hot air out of the system. We even moved the heatsinks closer to the vents themselves, giving hot air a straight-line path out of the machine and avoid any recirculation.
